Studio Policies & Expectations
Class Expectations
To ensure a positive and productive experience for all dancers, we kindly ask that the following expectations be met:
- Timeliness & Preparation: Dancers should arrive on time, fully prepared, and wearing appropriate dance shoes for their scheduled class.
- Dress Code:
- All ballet students must wear the designated leotard, tights, and skin-tone ballet slippers.
- Please refer to our Attire List for specific requirements. All dancewear must be ordered online via Dancewear Solutions or Capezio.
- Hair:
- Hair must be neatly secured and away from the face for all classes.
- Ballet students are required to wear their hair in a bun.
- No Visitors Policy:
Due to COVID-19 precautions, no visitors are allowed inside the studio during classes — no exceptions.
- Lobby Access:
Our lobby remains closed. We ask that parents and guardians wait in their vehicles during class times.
- Respect & Conduct:
- Dancers are expected to treat all peers, instructors, and staff with respect.
- Any behavior resulting in emotional or physical harm to others may result in immediate dismissal from Dani’s Dance Dynamics, LLC.
- Anti-Bullying Policy:
We have a strict zero-tolerance policy for bullying. All students are expected to adhere to this policy at all times.
Attendance Policy
- Attendance and punctuality are essential for student progress and class continuity.
- Dancers must arrive dressed in the correct attire and ready to begin on time.
- Please refer to your class schedule to ensure accuracy.
Make-Up Classes (Recreational Dancers Ages 2–9 Only)
- Recreational students may make up to three missed classes during the dance year.
- You must notify the office in advance before attending a make-up class.
- Please note: Make-up classes do not apply for closures due to natural disasters (e.g., hurricanes), government-mandated shutdowns, or other force majeure events.
Inclement Weather Policy
- We generally follow the Beaufort County School District schedule regarding closures.
- When school is canceled, dance classes will typically also be canceled (excluding competition team).
- Stay informed by checking your email and following our Facebook page for updates on:
- Weather-related cancellations
- Performance schedules
- Make-up days
- Special events
Tuition & Fees
- Annual Registration Fee: $50 per family (non-refundable).
- Monthly Tuition:
- Tuition is due on the 1st of each month.
- A 3-day grace period is allowed. Payments received after the 3rd will incur a $30 late fee.
- Families are also responsible for additional expenses, including:
- Costumes
- Dance supplies
- Travel costs (e.g., hotels, food)
Auto-Pay System
As of August 2024, all tuition payments are processed via Auto-Pay:
- An active card must be on file for each dancer.
- Tuition is automatically charged on the 1st of each month.
- Costume fees are charged according to a set schedule — details are shared via our monthly newsletter.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
- Membership cancellations must be submitted between the 1st and the 5th of the month.
- Cancellations made after the 5th will result in a full month’s tuition charge — no refunds will be given.
- Cancellations must be made in writing via email, phone call, or in person.
Waiver & Release Form
- A signed Waiver & Release Form is required for all dancers.
- This form must also be completed online through your Student Portal.
